| The High Clerist tower
The High Clerist Tower isn't just a tower its a massive fortress built by the humans. It was made to protect the only path through the Vingard mountains into Palathas' only entrance. It's walls are made of ironwood, banded with steel and strengthen by magic.

| Sancrist
Sancrist was the head quarters of the Solamanic knights During the war of the lance. It is an island west of Ergoth and also home of the Gnomes of Mt. Nevermind.

| Kalaman
The city competed with Istar in a rivalry at the sea and was at one point fully blockaded so no ship could pass. The War of the lance left the port city partially devastated by the red dragonarmy, it was liberated by the golden general in the end of the war. Regardless of the war it stands as the most significant city in Nightlund.

| Dargaard Keep
Dargaard Keep is a twisted figure of it`s former glory as is it`s former habbitant. Before the Cataclysm it was the home of Loren Soth, a knight of the rose. In the war of the lance it was one of the main strongholds of the blue dragonarmy as Soth had pledged his alligiance to the Blue Lady, also known as Kitiara. Until this day it has been the home of Lord Soth and seems to be so for the rest of eternity.

The city of solace grew in the trees, all except the forge and the stables were located above. The Inn of the Last Home is one of the most charismatic buildings, where the Heroes of the Lance started their adventure.
The city was severely damaged during the War of the Lance, when the Red Dragonarmy burned most of the structures.

The most important city in the region, Haven had a very important part spreading new religions such as the seekers. From a political center, it quickly turned into a religious center.
During the War of the Lance, the city was captured by the Red Dragonarmy, which quickly suppressed the false religions, forcing fake priests to convert to Takhisis or be slain.

| The missing city
The missing city lies in the eastern side of the plains of Dust. It is surronded by a grassy plain, and Ruled by the legion. It got its name from the spirit of elves who carry on there lives in another dimension.

| Zakhalax
The Dwarven Capital within the mountain of Thorbadin itself also known as the life tree. Habbited by the five dwarven clans and ruled by one king, after the war of the lance the dwarves have re-opened the gates of their mountain for travellers and traders.

| Pax Tharkas
Guarding the mountain passage to the south from abanasia lies the great fortress of Pax Tharkas that was built in cooperation between Qualinesti elves, Thorbardin dwarves and Ergothian humans, the fortress of Pax Tharkas (Citadel of Peace in the elven language) was supposed to be the symbol of friendship between the races after the Kinslayer Wars. It was occupied by the dragonarmies during the war of the lance under the lead of highlord Verminaard whom was later on defeated by the heroes of the lance.
After the war, apparently gully dwarves have taken residence there.

| North Ergoth
Many great sailers come from Ergoth, the people who live here are Darkskinned. They have many temples to the sea goddes Zebiom.

South Ergoth is an island south of North Ergoth and west of Ansalon. It is ruled from the city of Daltigoth. In the forest of South Ergoth live the Kagonesti, they are barbaric elves and where enslaved during the war of the lance.

| Towers of high sorcery |
| Wayreth Tower
The Wayreth Tower was the first tower built by the Orders. This tower was built by the combined efforts of Corenthas, Eriane, and Shaud in the Wayreth Forest. This tower to this day is still the heart of the Conclave of Wizards, and the most neutral of all the towers allowing all wizards to come to it. It is always surronded by a forest. When looking for the tower you don't find it... it finds you.

The tower of Palanthas is one of the abonden towers. Dalamar the dark lives in it. To get into the tower you must pass the grove of shoikan. Not even kenders have the heart to pass through.

| Neraka
Neraka was the home of the Dark Queen's Temple of Darkness. Raised 141 years after the Cataclysm, the original cornerstone of the Temple of Istar was the seed of the twisted temple. The city itself served to be nothing more than a dwelling for Takhisis' minions. Barracks were installed for the five dragonarmies that had gathered around Neraka in the war of the lance.

| Sanction
Sanction is a port town surrounded by volcanic mountains, most notably the three lords of doom. Once habbited by humans, but they were displaced by the blue dragonarmy. Here also lies the primary Temple of Takhisis, where the Good Dragon eggs were contaminated, creating the draconians.

| Icewall
The Icewall is filled with caves into, which some ice barbarians have wondered off to yet never returned. Thus many have wondered if Icereach is really a continent in and of itself—land lies beneath the snow and ice just south of Zeriak, but when the thickness of the ice increases to depths of up more than a mile further south, things become more complicated. It is also the only place where White Dragons enjoy themselves.
